Grab The Games: Survivalist

Today's game is maybe one of the good surprises of 2015. It is set up in a really smart and intrigue way so unique and familiar at the same time that will get you hooked 100%. Its title? Survivalist. It's one year after the collapse of civilization and self-centered hedge fund manager Joe Wheeler emerges from his specially constructed bunker in search of food. This is a huge open-world Role Playing Game where you have the freedom to play how you want - but your choices have consequences.

Your aim is to find other survivors, gain their respect, and build a community. You'll scavenge for supplies, trade, plant crops, go on quests, face moral dilemmas, go to war, and uncover dark, terrible secrets! This title has many aspects I loved some of them familiar in other survival games and others that are really innovating! The first thing that really impressed me is the innovative dialog system in which the characters remember your actions and form their opinion of you and their loyalty accordingly. Furthermore, another aspect that is really impressive is that there are a lot of RPG elements.

You can take control of all the characters in your community. Each one has its own inventory system and role in your community. Moreover I liked how you can organize your community. You can scavenge and use the resources you can find in buildings or in zombies to build your own fences etc. and in general build your own base. However there are some negative aspects I didn't like in these title. The graphics are extremely poor compared to other titles that share similar content like for example State Of Decay.

Another negative aspects of the game in my opinion of course is the combat system which is really the same over over. Shoot the zombies that are really predictable to appear and kick them in case of emergency. When you gather more community members things get a lot of easier. So a suggestion will be to add a difficulty setting in order more and different zombie to appear during the journey of the player.

To sum up, the game has some really unique features in it and at the same time lucks some others. I enjoyed playing a lot and I totally recommend it to everyone who loves zombie/survival games but also keep in mind of the negative aspects. This game will get you hooked 100% despite the negative aspects

Verdict: 7, 5 /10
