Grab The Games: War Hospital

Another day, another review for our fans. Today, I couldn't be more excited that I have my hands on a brand-new game that is not only available right now but has a great potential to evolve into a great title. We are going to present you how this title holds up against other games of our beloved publisher and if it is worth picking it up right now. But what is this game? Is it worth the hype? Stick around, and you will find out now. Let's start by mentioning a few things about the game itself.

The year is 1917. You are Major Henry Wells, a retired British combat medic, drafted back and thrown into the nightmare of World War I. Understaffed and undersupplied, you are the last bastion of hope for countless soldiers at the French Front. Treat horrible war injuries as the commander of a field hospital. Build a facility to heal them while the artillery shells explode ear-splittingly close. Use real WW1 equipment and see how your tools and methods evolve. Your choices will make a lasting impact.

To begin with, the very first aspect that impressed me was the way the title introduced itself to the new players with a good and clear tutorial. The title at this stage offers a great satisfying experience and mechanics that can of course be improved but show what a great title War Hospital is. It also has a really interesting story and finally, a title offers something different than similar titles of the same era that are either shooters or strategy titles.

As far as the negative aspects are concerned, they are not game breaking but what I found annoying is that sometimes you need to micromanage everything in order to achieve the best result possible, ui can be tricky to get used to and in the feature autosave and pause via space button should be introduced.

To sum up, the game is enjoyable with a lot of aspects to look ahead. The price tag is ok for what it offers and I can recommend it to everyone who has played similar titles and to gamers who want a different take on WW1.
