Grab The Games: Torment: Tides of Numenera

It's time for another review everyone and this time I am extremely happy to present you Torment: Tides of Numenera. You are born falling from orbit, a new mind in a body once occupied by the Changing God, a being who has cheated death for millennia. If you survive, your journey through the Ninth World will only get stranger and deadlier.

With a host of strange companions whose motives and goals may help or harm you you must escape an ancient, unstoppable creature called the Sorrow and answer the question that defines your existence: What does one life matter? Torment: Tides of Numenera is the thematic successor to Planescape: Torment, one of the most critically acclaimed and beloved role-playing games of all time. Torment: Tides of Numenera is a single-player, isometric, narrative-driven role-playing game set in Monte Cook's Numenera universe, and brought to you by the creative team behind Planescape: Torment and the award-winning Wasteland 2. Really interesting right? Keep reading because the game has a lot more stuff to offer. But is the game really worth picking up? The very first aspect that I loved in this game is the graphics and the whole unique artwork of the game. It is simply mesmerizing, full of details and it is like a piece of art.

Moreover, there is a really satisfactory main story that it is both narrative and requires actions from the player and you can shape it as you like through your choices that are your weapons in this title. Furthermore, the game is focused around the player and his choices matter a lot for the fate of other characters as well and not only for hisone. Furthermore, another aspect worth mentioning is that that the game uses the same technology as Pillars of Eternity so expect a world straight from your dreams.

The game also has great replayability and you can play the game again and again and adjust your choices and see every possible outcome. As far as the negative aspects are concerned, there aren't much but if I had to mention a few it would be the fact if you don't like heavily narrative game you will not like this title at all because it requires a lot of reading and choices. Another aspect mentioned mostly by the community is the optimization of this title which could be better and more fluent on old PCs.

To sum up, the game is really amazing and worth picking up even on this state. If you love Planetscape then you will definitely get hooked with it and it has great feature ahead of it. I definitely recommend it!

Verdict: 8/10
