Grab The Games: Titan Quest Anniversary Edition

Today, I am really happy to present you a game that I am sure you are all familiar with and needs no further introduction. It's name Titan Quest. Yes you read correctly, there is a huge update and overall improvement in this title after so many years and couldn't be more excited about this move from THQ Nordic. But before I start with all the details, in case you fell from the sky right not, let me tell you a few things about the game and its story.

From Age of Empires co-creator Brian Sullivan and Braveheart writer Randall Wallace comes an innovative action role playing game set in ancient Greece, Egypt and Asia. The Titans have escaped their eternal prison, wreaking havoc upon the earth. The gods seek a hero who can turn the tide in an epic struggle that will determine the fate of both men and gods. In this epic quest of good versus evil, players will encounter the greatest villains of Greek mythology, brave the attacks of Cerberus, and hazard the banks of the River Styx.

Players will interpret the prophecies of the blind seer Tiresias, fight alongside Agamemnon and Achilles, and use the wiles of Odysseus to conquer this dark new adventure. To begin with, the graphics of the game are as good as you remember them but with great addition and improvements. There is also support for more resolutions, larger camera distances and scalable UI size. Moreover, there is a huge stability improvement and performance as well that can satisfy even the most demanding player.

The changes are so many and they are based on the fans thoughts through the years. It has now a full steam support with achievements, trading cards, it supports modding, the AI is better now and there are also new bosses and things to do in the game. I could really talk for hours about the changes even the multiplayer is way better than I remembered it. As far as the negative aspects are concerned you simply can’t find in a title that classic.

To sum up, the game has improved a lot since its first day out and the currently 91% positive feedback on steam proves that people still love it. If you thing the original game deserved a 10/10. This one deserves a 11/10 and also it is free if you own the original and it includes the DLC as well.

Verdict: 10/10
