Grab The Games: The Walking Dead: Michonne - A Telltale Miniseries

Today, we have the privilege to review one of the newest Telltale titles, The Walking Dead: Michonne and honestly I couldn't be happier about it. But what is this game? Is it that good to pick it up? This title stars the iconic, blade-wielding character from Robert Kirkman's best-selling comic books. Haunted by her past, and coping with unimaginable loss and regret, the story explores Michonne's absence between issues #126 and #139 of the comic book.

Players will discover what took Michonne away from Rick, Ezekiel, and the rest of her trusted group and what brought her back. The first thing that I loved in this game is definitely the graphics. The art style is amazing and it maintains the same level of details we have used to in the other games of the series so no surprises here. Moreover, the story is really addictive and keeps the player at the edge of its seat.

I also loved the fact that in this game compared to the other Telltale tiles we get more about what our main characters feels and more about her past and what troubles here. In this title, the biggest enemy is not the walkers or survivals but Michonne's past and here guild about her children. Furthermore, I love the new characters added in the game and that they are a lot of small detail about them and I can't wait to see what happens next in the upcoming episodes.

This is so far all the positive aspects I can mention by playing episode 1: In too deep. As far as the negative aspects are concerned, episode 1 is really small you can finish it in 1hour and 40 minutes up to 2 hours. The price seems also a little bit high for 3 episodes only. Another negative worth mentioning for me is that some of the choices in the game doesn't matter or influence in a huge way the outcome of the game.

To sum up, the game is really good so far, there are some negative aspects but I can’t wait to see what’s more to come in the upcoming episodes of the series. I definitely recommend this game especially for the people that loved the previous walking dead games!

Verdict: 8.5/10
