Its time to move over Portal you have had your fun! no seriously we all love you portal! But its time for a new Puzzle game and that comes in the form of The Talos Principle,

THE STORY

There is one thing that really sets this game up well and its not even the puzzles, as great as they are it's the story to the game that draws you in so easily. The lone Robot with human artificial intelligence, being lead along by a mysterious god called Elohim who commands you to take part in puzzles to collect sigil pieces that open new doors, also rewarding you new gadgets to help solve these puzzles.

The Game brings into the question the nature of knowledge, reality, and existence, what are you? Why are you here solving puzzles for a God who talks almost in riddle to the common mind? and what is in that forbidden tower?

In truth some puzzle games can grow boring...

But when you have that kind of story to follow its hard to stop playing The Talos Principle. You come across computers that you can hack to gain better privileges on them to read emails, blogs conversations and gain Intel from the computers A.I itself.

The Lore is a tremendous edition to the game keeping you rattling your robotic brain to understand just what is going on!

THE PUZZLES

There are more than 120 immersive puzzles to be played and the puzzles themselves come in set's, example you have to beat five to open the next area, while collecting the sigils to unlock new gadgets to help you over come many challenges.

The challenges range from using jammers to disable sentry guns and security orb's that can and will quickly take your life, at the same time as opening force fields to continue on your ventures.

That's not all, from all that to now guiding lasers though reflectors into each other while holding open force fields to keep the lasers going to get to your end goal.

If it sounds simple to you, you would be correct for a short time, the games slowly brings up the difficulty that sits comfortably between easy and near impossible offering a great diversity to the game challenging peoples minds and how they look at the task ahead of them.

If your one of those people who smash though puzzles you wont find your self's stuck for long, but at the same time you wont be finding it as easy as you might think!

THE GRAPHICS/GAME-PLAY

Now this is the part where i see other people say "Croteam are re using props and elements from there Serious Sam games how lazy ect ect"

What you need to take into consideration is that this is indeed a Indie game created by independent developers who are not sat on top of a multi billion company.

yes some features are reused but dose it damage the game? Hell no the game shines though with its beauty and open level designs letting you explore while on your path in the selected areas, you are free to do the puzzles in what ever order you want, be that you want to explore and find the hidden stars and other secrets or access the computers for more information, you can do all this at your own free will.

Everything in the Game has been well designed and you can see pure dedication to the game from croteam, it go's to show how diverse they are coming form a all guns blazing shooter to a slower paced puzzle game.

The world of The Talos Principle is stunning and content filled complimented by a smooth game-play and a great soundtrack making the whole game a complete pleasure.
