Grab The Games: The Talos Principle: Road To Gehenna

I can't believe I am actually back to the Talos Principle. This game really rocked my world when it first came out and it made me remember not only why I love puzzle games but also what a good puzzle game should be like. But what is Road To Gehenna DLC and is it worth picking it up? Continue reading and you will find out really soon! But what is really this DLC?

The Talos Principle: Road to Gehenna follows the narrative of Uriel, Elohim's messenger, as he explores a strange, hidden part of the simulation on a mission of mercy and redemption in an attempt to free the souls of the damned at all costs. This substantial expansion consists of four episodes that take experienced players through some of the most advanced and challenging puzzles yet. The Talos Principle writers Tom Jubert and Jonas Kyratzes have returned to pen the expansion and show players an entirely different side of Elohim's world through a journey to Gehenna filled with new characters and a new society with its own history and philosophy.

The first thing that really impressed me in this DLC is that apart from the amazing graphics, that I am sure you all have admired in the main game, the game has an amazing story line which in my opinion will excite even more the people who loved the concept of the main game. Furthermore, if you thought the puzzles of the main game were hard and challenging, think again because in this DLC the puzzles are harder and more challenging which a big positive for me. There are also more stars than the main games…some of them are easy to get and some others require a good eye to spot them!

Another think that amazed me is definitely the beginning of the game which was full of mystery and created an amazing atmosphere that made me want to play the game more and more, explore and save all the souls. Moreover, there are more terminal-driven mini games and you will spend more time in the terminals than in the main game. There are also a lot of useful info you can get from them as well! As far as the negative aspects are concerned, there aren't any. This DLC is as good as the original game and you will spend a lot of hours trying to solve the puzzles, exploring and questioning what is happening in the game!

To sum it all up, this dlc is one of the few that manages to be as good as the main game. The puzzles are amazing and the story makes you want to play more and more. Road To Gehenna and Talso Principle help me remembered why I love puzzle games so much and how a good story-driven puzzle game should be made/created! With two words THANK YOU!
