Grab The Games: Sky Break

From the creators of FarSky comes a brand new promising title named Sky Break with a different concept this time. Can't wait to see what the game is all about? Me too so let's start. What's the story behind this game? Humanity is threatened. A mortal virus awoke, and it is spreading quickly. The particular flora of Arcania, a planet used to prepare humans for space colonization, may help in the creation of a cure. But it is now abandoned since working drones turned against humans.

A group of researchers is sent to this planet to find a solution. You one of them. But as you arrived, things went wrong... After the crash of your spaceship, you must survive on this hostile planet. Thankfully an old station above the clouds, left over by humans, provides a good shelter. Explore, gather resources, re-construct the station, enhance your armor and fight in a procedural open world, to create a cure and find your way back home. The first thing that I loved in this game is the vivid and amazing graphics. They are simply amazing, sharp and there are a lot of detains in the environments. Now that I mention the environment I love that there is a huge flora system in this game and that there is a vivid weather system as well which enhances the overall atmosphere of the game.

Meteors fall regularly on the planet and contain a high mineral content however be aware that they provoke dangerous lightning storms. Another threat for you in this planet is that there is no oxygen so you must be aware of your level at any time and a good trick is to visit your base regularly. In your base you can heal your wounds, replenish your oxygen and you can add more rooms as well. There is also a crafting system which you can use your resources to make a lot of things.

You can also improve your armor through chips and other items. The combat in this game is really easy to pick up and it is linked to the amazing story. The soundtrack is memorable as well. As far as the negative aspects are concerned, there aren't many if I had to mention one is that oxygen can run out quickly if you don't manage it well and sometime the graphics and the areas seem a little bit dark.

To sum up, Sky Break has an amazing story and an unforgivable weather system. The combat is linked to the main story and it is really easy to pick up. I totally recommend it to everyone who loved games like this and FarSky Interactive never fails to amaze me with their work!

Verdict: 8/10
