Grab The Games: Silence of the Sleep

I will have to admit something before telling you guys what's today's game all about, who created etc. etc. I am not impressed easily while playing a game for the 1st time. But this title changed everything! It really impressed me from the first seconds of playing it! Silence of the sleep is a really unique title and an one man show! Yes you heard me right? This title was created by 1 man only! Jesse Makkonen. Silence of the Sleep is psychological horror adventure game for PC. You play as a man called Jacob Reeves. A man who has lost his reason to live. He throws himself into a blackness to end his misery, but instead of it being the end he wakes up without a memory of his life before.

You will travel through the abstract world of Silence of the Sleep to find the very reason for your journey... I should start my review for this game with the graphics. The graphics of the game are really amazing and they remind me a lot other games I loved like The Cat Lady. I think all the people that have played both games would agree that there are a lot of similarities in the graphics of the 2 mentioned games. As far as the music is concerned, the game contains constant tunes from the start till the end and of course everything created by Jesse as well as the graphics and the animations.

As far as the game itself, it contains a lot of hard solved puzzles and twists. It is not a linear game where the only thing you do is solve puzzles. Silence of the Sleep has well-crafted balance between horror and adventure, this allows to build different atmospheres which brings variety to gameplay from scary moments to more calm ones that will keep you busy for hours. Another aspect that I loved in this game is the minimalistic features and the breaking/freezing detain when you press escape. I know it is something small but …oh well! I liked it and now let's move along to the negative aspects which are not a lot but for me are crucial.

First and foremost, you can't shoot in the game your random coming enemies but you only have to find. I don't like this aspect because while enemies appear the only thing you are forced to do is hide in a closet or in the bathroom or something until their gone. Another negative aspect of the game that I should mention is that sometimes the puzzles are way too hard with only a few hints that sometimes left me wondering if other players managed to solve the puzzles with the first try (tries) without using YouTube walkthroughs or anything like that.

Finally even though that the negative aspects exist Jesse has made an amazing work in creating this horror game, the graphic , the music and pretty much everything you can see and hear! I can recommend this game to all the horror game lovers because it will really give you a unique horror/adventure experience
