Grab The Games: Republique Remastered

One of the best games on android and on IOS is back and better than ever. The multi awarded Republique has finally reached the steam store. Let me tell you a few things about the game first. The story starts when you receive a call from Hope, a woman trapped inside a mysterious totalitarian state. Hacking into an elaborate surveillance network, you guide Hope through a web of danger and deception across five thrilling episodes. Developed over five years by industry veterans (Metal Gear Solid 4, Halo 4, F.E.A.R., Black & White 2, SOCOM) and fully realized in Unity 5, Republique Remastered is a thrilling and topical stealth-action game that explores the perils of government surveillance in the Internet.

First and foremost, I will tell you what remastered is all about. The game has been fully redesigned in Unity 5 and after I have compared screenshots between unity 4 and 5 the game is far better and looks so great and fresh! Another aspect you are going to love in this game is definitely the stealth action and the fact that you must plan all your action before you act in order to guide hope succefully. I should also add the fact that everything is done with one click! No weird mechanics or anything, everything is really simple, well designed and you will learn everything really quick. Another cool aspect of the game is that you get all 5 episodes of the game when you buy the game, no need to buy the episodes separately!

Moreover, there is an innovative, interactive developer commentary and you can eavesdrop on conversations recorded during the making of the game. Furthermore, the game is really challenging. There are some really unique puzzles you have to solve in order to progress further in the game and not only that but you should collect a lot of items you will find in your surroundings. This can be a little bit tricky but I guaranty you, it is really worth it and rewarding it because with these you will be able to buy new upgrades that will make your journey easier. Another positive aspect worth mentioning is that the narration and the soundtrack of the game is simply hair rising and generally in the game there is great attention in details from the design to the soundtrack everything is really great and creates a great atmosphere. Who would have thought that a mobile port to pc would be that good and even more satisfying!

However, there are some negative aspects I should mention. Even that the game is sooooo good! I don't like the fact that the resources are really limited an aspect that makes the game even more challenging. Furthermore, I didn't like that Hope is really vulnerable if you have no items in your inventory and you get spotted but on the other hand there is no game over you just get transferred inside a cell that you can escape so the negative is not so negative after all. There is also a Republique remastered deluxe edition that includes all five episodes of Republique Remastered, plus all the items in the Republique Remastered Extras DLC Pack: Soundtrack: The original soundtrack to all five episodes. (Episode 1-3 soundtracks available now; Episode 4 and 5 soundtracks coming soon), The Making of Republique: A six-part series (numbered 0-5) chronicling Republique's genesis and the making of each episode as it happens.

To sum up, despite the negative facts the game feels really amazing and unique. I totally recommend it to everyone especially for the funs of stealth games! This is not a simple port from android and IOS, it feels like a brand new game with such an innovative and unique concept that will satisfy even the most demanding gamers!
