Grab The Games: POSTAL Redux

Today, I am really happy to present you a review about a game we are familiar with and we all love it. It's title? Postal Redux! But what is this game exactly? What's more has to offer to the players who already played the original one? I am really glad you asked! POSTAL Redux is a high definition remake of The Postal Dude's infamous first foray into the world. Prepare to experience his psychological journey with faithfully recreated high resolution visuals, remastered music, sounds, and dialog, and revamped and modernized gameplay.

Crazed gunmen out for your blood await you around every corner. The only choice is clear: Get them before they get you. Fight back with a devastating arsenal as you make your way through a violence-stricken town. The classic dark and surreal twin-stick isometric shooter returns with a vengeance! Let's start with our review. To begin with, the HD remake offers an amazing visual overall enhancement compared to the original one. If you loved the first one with its visual, then I am sure you will definitely enjoy the overall enhancements. There are 17 levels in the classic Campaign: Beginning from your humble Home, traverse through The Mine and Trailer Park, witness the mean streets of The Ghetto and the bright lights of The City, all the way to the final standoff at the Air Force Base, including a stop at the all-new Carnival.

So, there are a lot of different environments and there is a great attention to details as you can see every map is different from the previous one. Moreover, there is a wide range of enemies and the game has kept its angry humor. There are even angry ostriches that kill you and believe me they will try really hard. Also we have SWAT, police, military squads etc. Furthermore, you will find a huge arsenal of weapons like

flamethrowers, rocket launcher and you can even use traps to kill pretty much everything that moves. I should also not forget to mention the new Rampage mode in which you aim for the highest score that awards points for sustained kill streaks, creative methods of destruction, and blistering fast action! As far as for the negative issues are concerned, there aren't any. There will be more features added in the future like co-op so expect big thing from Running with Scissors.

To sum up, I am really happy to see a game that inspired so many more title like Hatred being overall enhanced and done in a right way. It is faithful to its origins but the devs has taken it one step further. I totally recommend it.

Verdict: 9/10
