Grab The Games: Planetary Annihilation: TITANS

Our favorite RTS game just got bigger and better. Planetary Annihilation: Titans is a new game by Uber Entertainment but is it worth picking it up especially if you own the original game? TITANS is the huge stand-alone expansion to the already massive-scale RTS Planetary Annihilation, which includes the base game and adds tons of new features:

Devastate your enemies with 5 massive Titan-class super units like the like the earth-shaking Atlas bot and lightning-wielding Zeus airship! Expand your strategic arsenal with 16 new units such as versatile Hover Tanks, indomitable Orbital Battleships, and voracious Nanobot Swarms! Elevate your game with new planets that feature multi-level terrain available in both single and multiplayer. Get up to speed faster with a new, streamlined tutorial experience, and then take your game to the next level with the new Bounty Mode option for AI skirmish and multiplayer. Where do I start?

The newly Titans unit in the game are a devastating new unit with high power but slow at the same time. So, expect a good fight and a lot of units to take it down. Another positive aspect is that this standalone title keeps the quality of the original game with all the aspects we love and adds more features. The graphics also remain in the amazing condition we have got used to and the music is amazing and enhances the overall experience of the title. Furthermore, you can control your units and fight across multiple-terrains and planets from land and lava to colonize another planet.

Moreover, the feature that really amazes me is that you can destroy entire planets with amazing weaponry and win the war in this epic way. The multiplayer is epic as well. You can play with up to 10 friends in amazing free-for-all and open-world planets/terrains. However, there are some negative aspects that I should mention. First and foremost, if you own the original game then there is no point in buying this standalone expansion because it has almost same features. Furthermore, the price is really high for a standalone game and if you own the original then automatically it is not worth it. Moreover, when you save it saves on the solar system and not in the fight so you have to start the fight and constraction all over again!

To sum up, the game is extremely fun like the original but enhanced. Unfortunately the owners of the original will not find it worth getting up and instead they would expect these features to be available on the original version or as a DLC in the game.

Verdict: 8/10
