FINALLY a really anticipated platformer is available on Steam. Mushroom 11 is possible one of the best platformer games of 2015 and you will find out why as you keep reading my review. It is an award-winning anti-platformer where destruction is the only way to move.

Mold yourself into any form by destroying your cells, and traverse a devastated landscape filled with brain-twisting puzzles and bizarre mutations. Mold an amorphous organism into any shape by pruning its cells. New cells will immediately grow, allowing you to traverse a mysterious world across brain-twisting obstacles, overcome swarms of bizarre mutated creatures, and understand the true nature of the devastation from which you emerged. Are you ready to break the mold? Interesting concept right? The very first thing that impressed me in the game are the graphics. They are really sharp, good looking and fit perfectly with the title.

I also love the fact that there is one main concept in the game and it is done really well without over analyzing it or adding more stuff and making it complicated. Another amazing aspect is that the game doesn't hold your hand apart from the control you have to figure everything out and try to solve all the puzzles on your own in these really well designed environments. Moreover, the music is really cool and fits the game perfectly. It is from the British legend The Future Sound of London.

Mushroom 11 is really challenging and if you expect a walk on the park then DON'T. It is challenging, sometimes unfair but you will enjoy every bit of it. The controls of the game are really interesting and you will get sometime to get used to them. As far as the negative aspects are concerned, there aren't much honestly. If I had to mention one it would be the price tag because the game could be cheaper since the levels are limited and offer some hours of gameplay but not that much for the game to cost 14euros.

To sum up, Mushroom 11 is definitely the best indie platformer of 2015. It is really well designed and easy to get used to. The game is also coming soon to Ios and android soon. GET IT NOW!
