Grab The Games: Labyrinth

Today I am really happy to present you a game a little bit different from the other cards game we have got used to. It's called Labyrinth. But what is this game all about and is it worth picking it up? Labyrinth is a game created and developed by Free Range Games.

With Labyrinth, embark on a new adventure: Assemble powerful decks of Heroes to invade rival dungeons and engage in epic player vs. player 3D battles--then, use the loot from your conquests to customize your own dungeon and put together a powerful deck of bosses, minions, and traps to defend your riches at all costs. It is a collectible card, turn based, dungeon crawler title but a little bit different than the ones we have got used to lately. To begin with, the very first thing impressed me in this title is definitely the graphics. They are sharp, unique and the dungeons are really well designed with a lot of details and hazards.

So you have to plan your moves carefully. The cards have also an excellent design and each one is carefully created and it's like a small piece of art. Furthermore, the deck creation and customization is really easy and you don't have to form a deck only for raiding a dungeon but you also have to form a deck when you not online so you can protect your loot as well. I loved also the fact that each boss sets a different theme for the dungeon and its one of them has its own abilities and skills and you should adopt your strategy.

I should also mention that there 4 heroes available currently and each one with a different set of abilities and decks. The game will also be free to play. As far as the negative aspects are concerned, unfortunately the game has only 3 bosses available, which if you are lucky you can finish in 35 minutes. The game also has no tutorial currently inside the game, so it just throws you into action. The devs have warned about the early stage of the title but I feel 10euros is a lot for the state of the game.

To sum up, the game is fun and it has a lot of potential and a great future ahead of it but I would like to see more content at its current state to fully recommend it to other players.

Verdict: N/A ( too early stage of development)
