Grab The Games: Kholat

Kholat is one of the games I was really waiting for to play! But what is Kholat? Narrated by one of the most popular British actors, Sean Bean, Kholat is an exploration adventure game with elements of horror, inspired by a true event known as the Dyatlov Pass incident a mysterious death of nine Russian hikers, which led to countless, unconfirmed hypotheses.

The player will plunge directly into the boundless scenery of the inhospitable Ural Mountains with the task to find out what really happened. In the course of events, you may come across more speculations than expected...The game is based in the real Dyatlov Pass incident. Dyatlov Pass incident was a real story that happened in winter of 1959. Nine skilled alpinists went for a trip to the northern part of Ural Mountains, which ended fatally. Bodies of expedition's crew were found scattered on slope of Kholat Syakhl. Russian investigators closed the case stating that "a compelling unknown force" had caused the deaths.

There are a lot of aspects I loved in this game and I really don't know from where to start. To begin with, the first aspect that will impress you are definitely the graphics of the game. The environment where the game takes place is full of details, beautiful sceneries and a really challenging weather which will definitely make your adventure more difficult. Another amazing aspect of the title is the narration by my favorite actor Sean Bean. The narration enhances the whole atmosphere of the game and makes you want to continue playing in order to see what happens next. The sound effects also are really amazing the sound of the wind, the papers when you are close to them and many many other sound effects that enrich the whole experience.

I also loved that there is not only the main plot that the player can discover but also a lot of background plot. Really worth discovering as well! The open-world element is really captivating as well. You will definitely get lost in this vast open-world and with the bad weather and the navigation systems which is a compass and map the game gets really difficult and challenging! You are also not alone in this mountain and you will die a lot of times trying to escape from the monsters. As far as the negative aspects are concerned I tried but couldn't find any. If I had to mention one, that would be the difficulty. Some players may like the difficulty of this game while some other would prefer a more easy experience.

To sum up, Kholat is exactly the challenging and captivating experience you have always wanted! An amazing storyline, an open-world and a mystery what else you want from a game?
