Grab The Games: FEIST

Today I am really happy to present you Feist, a game that combines limbo visuals and intriguing platforming elements. But what is Feist really? Feist is an indie game,a desperate, savage survival experience full of stunning visuals, dynamic creatures, and a haunting soundtrack.

Follow strange beasts through lonely forests, hazardous mountains, dark caves, and glowing swamps. Watch out for dangerous creatures that react to your movements and decisions, and cleverly concealed traps that will test your ability to survive. Over six years in the making, FEIST is a gorgeous hand-made adventure unlike anything else, with a cinematic presentation reminiscent of The Dark Crystal or Hedgehog in the Fog, and a tense original soundtrack by Tomek Kolczynski. The first thing that I am sure will amaze you is definitely the amazing visuals. The graphics are simple but yet beautiful with strong pallet colors and beautiful character silhouettes. The art-style creates a dark but innocent atmosphere.

What boosts the whole game's atmosphere is definitely the soundtrack which is eerie, soothing and fits the game perfectly. Furthermore, I love how accessible the game is. It has simple controls an easy way of getting around and full controller support. Another positive aspect for me is how vivid the world of Feist is. There are a lot of creatures that you will discover during your journey in Feist and you can put all of them in good use!

Also, I like the use of traps in the game. Some of them require a good eye to spot them and not die. Often traps work as puzzles that require a few steps/tactic to be solved. As far as the negative aspects are concerned, the game has a few lows but in general it offers tons of fun! First and foremost, the game can be finished in around 2-3 hours. I would love more puzzles in the game as well. Sometimes it also feels repetitive.

To sum up, the game is a gem in your steam library. Small but strong in atmosphere and gameplay experience. I totally recommend it to everyone even if you are not a fun of games like Limbo you should definitely give this game a try.
