Grab The Games: EDEN STAR: Destroy- Build - Protect

Today's game will really impress you, I can personally guarantee that. I am not impressed easily but….wow, this title is something else. What title? Eden Star Of course! Eden Star is an immersive Sci-Fi survival game by Flix Interactive that blends innovative physics based combat, destructible environments and free-form construction with the exploration of a hostile alien world. Explore and gather resources from the environment of Pharus 7, use these materials to construct defensive outposts, craft powerful weaponry and upgrade your Pioneer.

I want to clear something up before I start my review. The game is on early access and it is on a very pre-alpha stage. The current version of the game that I played was v0.01. The game is a really promising especially for the fans of Mass Effect and other similar titles you will really be hooked like I am now. Moreover, the game is really impressive when you begin your journey the cinematic is really breathtaking and the whole landing in this foreign planet and the fact that you are trying to survive is pretty amazing. Another think I like is the physics based combat with that smash ability you have and you can crash your enemies. Really impressive aspect!

Another positive in the version I played (and in general) is the way you can mine resources with that amazing glove/ability you have which is really unique for a game. Furthermore, I loved the way the map is created and the environment of Pharus 7. The map is 1km and it is still on version 0.01! However there are some negative aspects but all of them will be fixed soon since the game is on a very early stage of development.

Most of them are totally expected and honestly they are pretty common when a game starts its journey so personal recommendation don't let them disappoint you. First things first, the AI of the enemies is not very good they rarely attack and when they do they are not as smart as I thought they will be and not so many. Furthermore there are some bugs in the game and there is no save system in version 0.01 but they will be soon hopefully(Update: added in the latest version). Also, I wish the day night cycle was more vivid and realistic.

To sum it all up, every game start its journey with some pros and cons and in this title, the pros are the ones that matter most at least to me and I totally recommend to the game at this stage because you will have ton of fun. Furthermore, since it is in such early access of development I won't rate the game because it won't be fair but if I had to rate it I think it is a solid 8 despite the problems!
