Grab The Games: Doorways Holy Mountains of Flesh

Doorways is back with the last chapter on the famous franchise. The new chapter is called Holy Mountains Of Flesh and it comes on Early Access. The players will be able to play Act 1 with more updates coming throughout the EA of the title. Before I start my main review let me tell you a few things about the story of the game.

Juan Torres and his family were the target of an uncountable number of rumors and several disappearances that took place in El Chacal, a small village of around 4,800 inhabitants, located in the arid mountainous region of Salta, a province of Argentina. Among the stories spread around the surrounding villages, legends involving cannibalism, black magic, sects and all kinds of superstitions were heard.

It was also said that Juan Torres was the heir of a large fortune and, somehow, with no claim raised against him, he and his family managed to control the entire town and establish their own law. The family was made up of Juan, Celia Torres and his only child, Jeronimo.

The first things that I loved are the graphics of the game. They are really dark and well designed and create a horror atmosphere just like it should be. The school is really spooky and the sound effects as well the music enhance the overall experience of the player. Furthermore, the use of puzzles in the game is amazing. It requires a good eye and been aware of your surroundings all the time in order to spot every detail that will help you solve them.

The game has also a few jump scares and scary moments. The best in my opinion is the last scene of Act 1 with the flashes of the bodies. WOW what a great ending and I can't wait to play more. The game has been really improved in every aspect in this final chapter of the game. As far as the negative aspects are concerned, the game is almost perfect. There are a few bugs in the game but I am sure they will be fixed soon. Also, I would love more jump scares and higher difficulty. The first act is also only 2 hours long.

To sum up, the game is amazing. I totally recommend it to the fans of horror games and to the people that enjoyed the previous Doorway games. I think when this one will be fully releases and will be a game worth playing again and again. Can't wait for more updates!
