Grab The Games: Dead Effect 2

Dead Effect is back on steam with another massive FPS hit. Are you ready for more blood and another captivating title? But what is this title and is it worth picking it up? Dead Effect 2 is the newest addition to the acclaimed Dead Effect franchise. This action sci-fi shooter is looking to push the boundaries of first-person shooters to new levels with slick graphics, rich narrative and RPG elements. Play the single-player missions at your own pace or engage your friends in the cooperative multiplayer mode.

Train, develop your character, collect and upgrade countless weapons, gear and body implants and take control of the monster-infested ship. Awesome so far right? Keep reading my review to discover what more there is in this game. The first thing I loved in this game is definitely the graphics that have evolved a lot since Dead Effect 1, more environments, sharp visuals and a lot of details everywhere. The sounds, the dialogues and the soundtrack are amazing as well. Moreover, I liked the fact that you can choose between 3 amazing heroes each one with different set of skills, abilities and weapons.

You can also upgrade your weapons, your character's abilities and enhance your player's performance with high-tech implants. The game also offers a lot of different modes like Biohazard, Lone Wolf and other available modes. You have also the ability to play co-op with your friends, something that enhances the overall replay value of the title. Moreover, there is a vast variety of enemies that you will face in your missions.

From zombies to cyborgs and mutants this game will bring all your worst nightmares to life. As far as the negative aspects are concerned, there aren't many to mention. A negative for me is the UI which is exactly the same as the mobile game and it feels like a mobile port. There are also some frame issues for some users that I am sure they will be fixed soon.

To sum up, the game is simply amazing and it lives up to its potentials, especially if you have played the previous title. It is honestly fun, addictive and it offers hours of game time alone or with your friends.
