Grab The Games: Contra: Operation Galuga

Another day, another review for our fans. Today, I couldn't be more excited that I have my hands on the title of a really successful franchise that is not only available right now at a great price but also offers a really fun experience from the start. We are going to present you how this title holds up against other games of the genre and if it is worth picking it up right now. But what is this game? Is it worth the hype? Stick around, and you will find out now. Let's start by mentioning a few things about the game itself.

A new entry in the legendary Contra series is here! Contra: Operation Galuga is a thorough reimagining of the classic run-‘n’-gun action game from the ‘80s, featuring modern graphics and sound, new stages, new enemies and bosses, new play mechanics, an updated weapons system, and explosive co-op combat for up to two players in Story Mode or four players in Arcade Mode! When the Red Falcon terrorist group takes over the Galuga Islands off the coast of New Zealand, elite Contra commandos Bill Rizer and Lance Bean spring into action, initiating an all-out war in which the fate of mankind hangs in the balance!

Run, jump, and shoot your way through eight levels using a devastating arsenal – including the spread shot, laser, and homing missiles – now with stackable upgrades and awesome Overload abilities! The intense action is customizable with three difficulty settings plus a variety of additional challenge options. The true Contra legacy begins now! To begin with, the very first aspect that impressed me was the way the title introduced itself to the audience, with a great tutorial and starting adventure.

The game doesn’t hold your hands and it is pretty easy to get used to, especially if you have played other titles of the series! The game has also some really amazing graphics. The title is definitely hard and intriguing to master! There are a lot of missions available that you can play on your own or co-op. Furthermore, I loved how you can buy new stuff and upgrade your character. As far as the negative aspects are concerned, I couldn’t find anything of great importance that stopped me from having fun or enjoying the game in general.

To sum up, the game is definitely enjoyable with a lot of aspects to look ahead. The price tag is ok for what it offers, and I can really recommend it to everyone who has played similar titles and to gamers who want a relaxing title.
