Grab The Games: Assassin’s Creed® IV Black Flag™

Ahoy lads, this is your captain speaking! Time to be an Assassin! A pirate assassin I would say! As you all understood really well we are going to review Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag one of the most beautiful AC I have played so far. Let's start first with the story line. The year is 1715. Pirates rule the Caribbean and have established their own lawless Republic where corruption, greediness and cruelty are commonplace. Among these outlaws is a brash young captain named Edward Kenway. His fight for glory has earned him the respect of legends like Blackbeard, but also drawn him into the ancient war between Assassins and Templars, a war that may destroy everything the pirates have built. Welcome to the Golden Age of Piracy. The storyline is simply amazing, unique and captivating an aspect that really made me choose to review this game.

To begin with our main review, this title really evolves the overall experience we had from the previous AC titles and brings it one step forward. The graphics of the game are really amazing and beautiful. I love the sea reflection and the whole world creation. The world is really vivid and full of life. From animals to Templars and other pirates this open-world titles never stops to amaze me with every small detail I discover. As far as the open-world aspect I mentioned before, this game offers the biggest so far maps we have ever seen in an AC game. You can explore over 75 unique locations where you can live the life of a pirate including: Loot underwater shipwrecks, Assassinate Templars in blossoming cities, hunt for rare animals in untamed jungles, search for treasure in lost ruins and escape to hidden coves.

Another feature of the game worth mentioning is definitely the sea battles and that you can command your ship and crew. As an extension to the open-world feature you can travel the 7 seas, emerge yourself in epic navy battles, explore islands and also survive the roughness of the sea by surviving huge waves and other menaces. Moreover, another aspect that I loved in this game is the evolved weaponry Edward can use from double swords to double pistols everything is there you to help you in your journey assassin against the Templars. Furthermore, the game features an upgrade feature not only for Edward but also for your ship the Jackdaw. Upgrades that will help you a lot in your journey. In your journey you will also meet some famous pirates like Black Beard.

On the other hand, there are some negative aspects I would like to mention. The difficulty in this game is really mediocre and offers a little challenge for the experienced players. Also, the basic combat system is the same as in the other AC titles with only little things added. Another aspect that I didn't like is that the minimum requirements are misleading, you can easily play the game in a good Intel Core 2 duo PC why setting them so high and discourage people from buying it

To sum up, this is one of the most beautiful Assassin's Creed titles so far. Don't let Uplay or the requirements discourage you. This game is a gem and it offers a lot of gameplay hours and fun while discovering your pirate side! Until our next review. ARRRRRRRRRRRR
