Grab The Games: Curse of the Dead Gods

Another day, another review for our fans. Today, I couldn't be happier not only that we have the opportunity to review this also title and see if it will pass the test of time, but also that we are going to present why this title is as fresh as it sounds! But what is this game? Is it worth the hype? Well, stick around and read our review before anything else. Let's start by mentioning a few things about the game itself.

You seek untold riches, eternal life, divine powers - it leads to this accursed temple, a seemingly-infinite labyrinth of bottomless pits, deadly traps, and monsters. Collect mystical Relics and an arsenal of weapons to make yourself unstoppable. Battle through hordes of enemies in the dark, cavernous passages filled with traps and secrets of all sorts - fire-spewing statues, explosives, hidden spikes, and worse. Corruption builds in you with every step - encourage or ignore it, but each powerful curse can be a double-edged sword. Your greed will lead you to death, but that is not an escape. Rise to fight again. Delve deeper again. Defy the malignant deities that linger in this place. Before we go any further, I would like to mention that the game is currently on early access, with many more features to come.

To begin with, the very first aspect that really impressed me is the graphics and, in general, the artwork of the title. They are really sharp and create a fantastic atmosphere for even the most demanding players. I loved the concept of darkness. Enemies can only see you if you get close or if you use your torch. Also, traps can be seen by using your torch, so use it wisely to avoid losing precious health. Moreover, there is vast weaponry, as you can imagine, with many more to be added in the future. You can choose to sacrifice your gold to get more powerful weapons or relics or use blood! Yes, blood with….consequences.

The curses can definitely force you to change your strategy and adapt to each situation. What really impressed me as a player is the fact that each room feels different and unique even though the title is not fully realized with all its content. As far as the negative aspects are concerned, there are some small bugs here and there which will be addressed soon but other than that I had really fun playing the game and to state more negatives I have to check it out again when fully realized but so far so good!

To sum up, the game is fantastic so far, and it has excellent potentials if the devs play their cards right. I recommend supporting the title, and it can satisfy even the most hardcore fans.
