Grab The Games: Aces of the Luftwaffe - Squadron: Extended Edition

Another day, another review for our fans. Today, I couldn't be happier not only that we have the opportunity to review this also title and see if it will pass the test of time, but also that we are going to present why this title is as fresh as it sounds! But what is this game? Is it worth the hype? Well, stick around and read our review before anything else. Let's start by mentioning a few things about the game itself. The squadron has reached your mobile device! Dodge a bullet storm and face fearsome aerial war machines! Lead your squad to victory in two different campaigns, full of story twists and legendary boss fights!

ACES OF THE LUFTWAFFE - SQUADRON is an action-packed vertical scrolling shoot' em-up with a fascinating and fully voiced narrative. Dodge bullets, collect massive power-ups, and wisely use special abilities to defeat your enemies. Two campaigns with 50 levels in total, waves of various deadly enemies, and a lot of epic boss fights. Are you up to the task? To begin with, the very first aspect that impressed me is the graphics and, in general, the fantastic artwork. They are quite reasonable compared to similar games available, and they create a tremendous atmosphere for even the most demanding players. The world is also really excellent, full of details, and in general, it manages to captivate you from the first start. The soundtrack is also a plus! Moreover, the story is satisfactory, and I loved the fact that during missions, there are certain events trigger like when you have to protect your wingmen.

The title also features side missions during every level and boss fights, of course. For the fans of the series, there are a lot of skills that you can unlock and aid you during your battle. Some of them can be triggered automatically by your fellow fighter. How cool is that? Another aspect I should also mention is the fact that this is the extended version of the game, which includes a DLC that adds another campaign and many more hours of gameplay and fun!

As far as the negative aspects are concerned, the first thing that I should mention is the controls which, in my opinion, both the touchscreen ones and the joystick are difficult to get used to. Another minus for me is that the cloud save in not automatically uploaded, and you have to do it manually to keep your savings.

To sum it all up, Aces, despite the negative aspects, manages to offer a satisfying and enjoyable mobile experience for even the most demanding players. It certainly is a huge step forward for the mobile series. I recommend the game to everyone, especially for its price. If you don't like mobile gaming, the title is also available on other platforms as well.
