Hello everyone, it is time for another review and this time I am really honored and sooo excited to present you the ultimate version of Spintires, Spintires: MudRunner. But what is this game any way? Is it worth the hype? Should you pick it up immediately? (If you don’t already own it or took advantage of the 50% loyalty discount?) Stick around and you will find out now. Let’s start by mentioning a few things about the game itself.
The game puts players in the driver seat and dares them to take charge of incredible all-terrain vehicles, venturing across extreme landscapes with only a map and compass as guides! A huge upgrade over its predecessor, this edition comes complete with a brand new Sandbox Map joining alongside the original game's 5, a total graphical overhaul, a new Challenge mode with 9 new dedicated maps, 13 new vehicles and other comprehensive improvements
It’s not just an enhanced edition, it’s the ultimate off-road experience! To begin with, the very first aspect that really impressed me is the graphics and in general the art work of the title. They are really sharp and create an amazing atmosphere for even the most demanding players. The levels are really well-created, realistic and there is a great attention to details. It offers the ultimate off-road experience. It now features 19 all-terrain vehicles. Another aspect I should mention is that there is a massive graphic overhaul making the great more realistic.
The new challenge mode also adds more playable hours to the game and will definitely keep you busy for more time. As far as the negative aspects are concerned, the only negative I personally found in this game is definitely the camera. The camera makes the game almost unbearable some times and really hard to play since in some occasions like the challenges you may need to change the camera 2 or 3 times in order to pass the challenge. Some people will hate and other will love it that’s for sure.
To sum up, after playing the game for some time I found it really enjoyable despite the negative aspects. I would definitely love to see some improvements in the game like the camera aspect in order to be perfect!
