Guild Of Dungeoneering (Android)
Today, I am really happy to present you a game I was really happy to know that it was coming to mobile devices and of course I am talking about Guild Of Dungeoneering. But what is this game? Is it worth picking it up if you own the steam version? Glad you asked, stick around and you will find out right now.
In this game you become the ultimate Dungeon Master as you bribe, entice and coax your heroes through their adventures on a quest to restore your guild to its ultimate glory! Guild of Dungeoneering is a unique turn-based RPG with a twist: instead of controlling the hero, you build the dungeon around him. Using cards drawn from your Guild decks, you lay down rooms, monsters, traps and of course loot! Meanwhile your hero is making his own decisions on where to go and what to fight. But will he be strong enough to take on the dungeon's overlord? In between dungeon runs and card based battles, manage your Guild building new rooms to attract new classes of adventurer and to expand your decks of cards with more powerful items and events. The very first thing that I really loved in this game is definitely the graphics of this great title.
They are sharp, unique and sometimes will leave the player breathless with the unique hand drawn like levels. The soundtrack of the title is also amazing as well and the writing is also full of humor, two aspects that I should not forget to mention in my review. Another aspect worth mentioning is definitely the fact that you can recruit a lot of different heroes each one with a different character, set of cards and attitude. You can also level them up, enhance their deck and a lot more. It is also amazing that you expand your guild with new rooms that add different things in the game.
Moreover, compared to the PC version, the price is also very tempting and guess what…you will get all future update of the game including DLCs available on PC for FREE. As far as the negative aspects are concerned, I couldn’t find something major. It is bug free, full of fun and the game even plays offline. If I had to mention one is that sometimes even if you place loot in another room the heroes seem to guide themselves in the dungeon and you can’t choose direction or turn back to face more enemies.
